Crazy Weather

So this entry is kid of funny cause the weather on these two days was so opposite and the outfits really seem to reflect that.  First up was an outfit I was so proud of, and really felt like I looked so good in (although it was kind of waisted cause I was inside all day doing homework, but oh well)

Fall Bohemian - Nailed it!

I was pretty pleased with my outfit today! I actually ended up being dressed a bit too warmly (probably the last time I say that for a while!) but I rocked it anyway! I am posting two photos because I felt that the jacket really pulled the whole thing together.

My hair is actually long enough to get the bangs out of my face now, too! Certainly helped with the overall appeal of this look, for me.

New Look

Ok, so I have decided upon a new look of sorts.  Basically I just wear giant T-shirts with shorts so it mildly appears as if I'm not wearing pants.  Its a very comfortable formula so so far I'm very into it.

Here It Goes Again

One of the things I was most excited about when I officially decided to transfer schools was the outfit possibilities the warm weather would provide and yet I have totally been slacking in the postage department.  I have very much been enjoying the weather and the ability to wear little to no pants as often as possible.  So here are a couple things so far, but there will be more to come and they will come along more regularly.

Warmish

So things are getting warmish around here so I'm trying to enjoy that as much as I can.  The trick is as always with me, layering, but still sometimes if you stay in the sun and don't go near the shade you barely even need the extra layer.
               

(It should be noted, the maxi dress in particular, had many many layers underneath) (and also I don't know if you can tell, but I wore these gray fishnets mom sent me under the read dress, for a subtle pattern clash)

(definitely didn't realize there was that big a run in my tights, until posting this photo...oh well, they probably just wont make it back to America with me is all)

Chicago gave us a few days of BEAUTIFUL spring weather, only to rock us with an overnight snow storm and drop the temps back down into the thirties.  So I've been bundling back up again the last few days.  Today, we're on an upswing!

Errand Running Day

Ran some errands around town and went for a fantastic dinner at an Asian Street Food sit down restaurant (dinner includes a free ice cream after so it was my kinda place).  I'm super glad I took the photo before I left for the day though, cause I spilled all over my everything at Dinner.

It's been a  crazy week, but it's almost over. So here's to that!

First day of spring!

I have been terribly negligent, as has my co-blogger (we'll give her a pass though, since she's been abroad).
First post back in a while, but I'm hoping I can jump back into posting at least every other day.

It's Alive!

So basically laziness took over for the past, I'd say about 6 months, and I disappeared.  But here is some of what I wore last semester, and heres hoping I do much better this semester.

It should be mentioned the more belly-tastic outfits were for going out.  Also there is a giant gap of when it skips from Halloween to Christmas with nothing in between, my bad.

Taking it easy since it's a Saturday, and since it's been snowing giant snowflakes since about 10:00am.  Went to brunch with friends and so I decided to keep it simple.

I've been slacking!

It's been far too long since we have had new posts on here.  All of this snow in Chicago has been so discouraging I haven't been on top of my game.  With the exceptions of plowed roads and shoveled sidewalks, I haven't seen the ground since before Thanksgiving! Just try and wrap your brain around that...

I decided to do something new! I can't remember the last time I rocked a center part, but it was fun to do something new and different.  Great way to shake things up without making any permanent changes :)
