Stuck in the Airport

I'm sitting in the Tampa airport c33 gate completely clueless as to when I will actually leave.  There were some plane problems, which (even though everybody is real mad) I'm personally glad they caught before we were actually in the air.  So anyways, with no phone to entertain me I figured I might as well play some catch up here.  Unfortunately I was sick for pretty much all of last week, so the only photos I would have had would have been of my in various sweats and tshirts...or maybe the same pair of sweats for a few days...

So instead here's an outfit that I wore on valentines day and forgot to post:

Wednesday

I wore this cause most of all I wanted to be supah comfortable, and I definitely succeeded.  The leggings and underneath tank top are two of the softest things I own, and it kinda just  worked out that I was wearing them together.  I wish there was more to say, but thats pretty much it for Wednesday.

Johnny Tsunami

   We had our first pre-rush event for AXO on Monday.  It was really weird being asked what its like being in a sorority instead of being the one asking, and although at times I wanted to just explode from discomfort, all in all it went pretty well.  I wore a pair of pass down letters that make me feel like Johnny Tsunami...so needless to say I had a killer day!

This Was Actually Friday But...

So this was maybe one of my favorite outfits ever...ya, I said it.  I was actually really nervous to wear it because although I loved the hat, I wasn't and still aren't sure I could pull it off.  All the same people said nice things which made me feel good about it at the end of the day.

Today was a great day because I was feeling super lazy and just kind of threw this together and then loved it!  The headband is from a cute little shop in Cape Town, tank from Mr Price (also in SA), bloomers from a Plato's Closet and the necklace is beads made from magazine paper bought from a sustainable jewelry site.

Greek Pride Day, all of greek life was sporting letters today

I've gotten really into wearing tights underneath of these leggings.  It works for extra warmth and also mixes it up a little since the leggings themselves are basically destroyed at this point.

Wore my hair super sleek today and parted down the middle which is a style I've never tried (sorry I look so sad in this)

The only downside to the hair was the number of people that said I should straighten my hair more and I was like my hair is naturally straight...

Here was Monday by the way, I had a weirdly full day yesterday, but I was wearing my mega soft long johns so I didn't mind so much.  The picture on the shirt is one that I ironed on its one of my favorite photographs, I don't even remember where I found it.  Its just so bizarre but in the best ways.

I saw that it's cold up in Allentown, it's cold here too!! It's only like 60 ;) The scarf was a gift, the shirt was from Pac Sun, the jeans are from Mr Price in Cape Town and the sneakers are from Eco Sneaks (which has since gone out of business)

Super Bowl nails (a little late now)

Here is a picture of academic row from earlier today.  It started snowing yesterday evening and it was still snowing when we went out last night, which made going out feel a lot more fanciful, I have to admit.

I really liked my profile in this outfit, from the side I looked very sleek (which is just a positive way of saying lanky town usa).

I wore this high low front skirt thing that I've posted about before, however this time when I wore it I wore it sideways to mix it up a bit.  All in all I thought it was a good way to remix something I wear a lot.
