So even though I have worn these before, and posted about them before, I still get uber excited whenever I bust'em out. I think it is fair to say you haven't lived till you've worn sequin on your bottom. Sydney and I had fun all day talking about my "sparkle butt"
(sweater and shorts from forever 21, tights from H&M, and Vans on mah feets)
Secondary elements are just as important, if not the most. I am, which I am almost certain is clear by my postings, a huge fan of piling on necklaces and feel almost every outfit is improved by the habit. Also I thought I had a good hair day, so I included that here as well...moving on. The necklaces were hand me downs, and I can't remember where I got the plum ring from.
p.s. my pinky nail looks infected in that one photo but it isn't I was just trying out this sick magnetic nail polish I got for Christmas. I haven't quite gotten the hang of it yet, but I'm confident it will come with practice.
Its been snowing the past couple days so I've had a chance to wear my new rain booties (got em on sale for $5!). Nails are teal leopard print - I'm getting good at the leopard so I can do em pretty quick these days.
(sweater is from pacsun, boots from H&M, and tank top from Sophie - I don't know where she got it)
It's a new year and we are ready to revamp this blog and take it to the new level! New layout, new outfits, and new music to come!
(ABOVE)These leggings are from a store in Cape Town, and they are just some of the many lovely things I was able to bring back with me. The denim shirt is from Wet Seal and the pink shirt underneath is a Buffalo Exchange find (my favorite)! This photo was also taken in my new house, finally back in Florida for my last semester!
(RIGHT) This shirt is also from Cape Town, courtesy of Mr Price, the shorts are from Delias, the bandana is from A.C. Moore and the boots were a gift from my little sister! It's a warm day today in Florida, so I will absolutely be taking advantage!
(BELOW) Are some photos from Gasparilla and all of the awesome and crafty pirate costumes!
Skull shirts I made
My roommates Jon (right), and Drew (left)
Aaaaaaarghn't they cute?!
One of the other new and other exciting things we want to do is to start sharing music. This week's playlist, in honor of Gasparilla will be some of my favorite party songs. Pop some bottles and jam to this.
(P.S. I'm on the phone with you in that one picture)
I got the green velvet dress at goodwill. It used to be floor length, and I attempted to hem it...and failed. I was really only able to wear it cause I wore leggings under instead of tights and had a major slip situation going on underneath. Also recognize the cross necklace from one of our antiquing excursions in Gettysburg?
I liked the contrast of my knit tights with the leather shorts I was wearing (both from h&m) today, however pretty much as soon as I left my room I regretted the choices. Today happened to be the coldest day in a while - 18 degrees currently, was about 13 earlier. But these are the prices we pay to wear the pair of shorts we love and haven't worn in a while.
I am also very sorry to report the demise of my barely month old headphones. I am even sorrier to report that is was 100% my fault. The right ear earpiece got caught on something and I without much thought yanked to try and free it - that was my mistake, never yank, no one should ever yank. (advice of the day I guess)
